Which class to pick

The five classes of 99B Forever, how each one plays and how to unlock the Magic Gladiator and the Dark Lord.

5Classes
220Magic Gladiator from level
250Dark Lord from level
5Points per level
7Points per level MG / DL

99B Forever has five classes, just like the original 99B. There's no third evolution, no Summoner and no Rage Fighter.

Class Style Second class
Dark Wizard Ranged caster, area spells Soul Master
Dark Knight Melee, lots of HP, weapon skills Blade Knight
Fairy Elf Archer and support: buffs, healing, summons Muse Elf
Magic Gladiator Sword and magic at the same time —
Dark Lord Leader with Command, Dark Horse and Dark Raven —

Dark Wizard

Hits with magic from far away. Almost all of his damage comes from Energy and the skill he uses. He has Mana Shield (Soul Barrier) to tank hits and Teleport to move around. He's fragile early on: put some points into Agility and Vitality.

Dark Knight

The toughest class. He hits with Strength, and his weapon skills scale with Energy (every Energy point adds to the skill's percentage). With his second class (Blade Knight) and Marlon's quest he learns the combo.

Fairy Elf

She shoots with a bow using Agility (and some Strength). Her real value is in a party: she heals, raises everyone's damage and defense, and summons monsters that fight alongside her.

Magic Gladiator

A mix of Dark Knight and Dark Wizard: he uses swords and magic scrolls. He gets 7 points per level (the other base classes get 5). He has no second class and doesn't do the Sevina and Marlon quests.

Dark Lord

Uses scepters and the Command stat, which makes his Dark Raven and his party skills stronger. He rides the Dark Horse. He also gets 7 points per level and has no second class.

Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord must be unlocked

Just like in 99B, you can't create them from the start: you need a level 220 character on your account for the Magic Gladiator and a level 250 one for the Dark Lord. A character that has already reset also counts.

In exchange, the Magic Gladiator and the Dark Lord get into maps with 2/3 of the level the gates and the Move window require, and they have their own level table in Devil Square, Chaos Castle and Kalima.
